Meowvie, I love you!

Child Safety

What? Keep sharp objects away from children? Oakley is singing, "these are a few of my favorite things..."

These kids are fun!

The girls have such great ideas for a fun time. At least it's fun for most.

WaterMart Bob Weds!

Tuesday night after Seminary Graduation (about 9:20 PM) our 64 year old friend Bob Wallace and 34 year old Christina from Sprouts Bakery were married. It was a lovely occasion. The Bishop of Taylor Park Ward married them, Justin Miller translated so that Cristina could understand better, and Connie Rainwater put on the reception. I got to decorate the refreshment tables and a fun time was had by several. I was sorely disappointed when the camera broke (well, the battery went dead) after the first picture. So here you have as much proof as I have.

This robe is so breathable!

It was really hot! That's the excuse we're going to give Chris for looking so uncomfortable standing next to his father-in-law. Joe and Mary are some of the nicest people.

I noticed that Sara and Jason didn't get on anybody elses blog. Is it because the light was too bright for Jason's eyes?

Sitting around the table~one of my favorite past times, especially with food which was way yummy pizza and no sick crawfish. Sorry you didn't all get in the picture, but in my imagination Kevin and Nicole and Philip and Melissa are here too, just on the other side of the table with Kirk and Natalie.

I Love You All

Thanks to you all for making every day a mother's day. Every time we talk or are together it reminds me of just how lucky I am. Can you all see why my life is so good? Oh, how I love the Melvinisms of it all.

Stair Master

It's always fun when Oakley comes, when Oakley comes to stay... He is mastering all kinds of things, and in a special way. He has a wink and and twinkly smile, with Spanish moss he plays. He is the stair master of the day when he plays. Who knows the tune?

#1 Dad!

Sunday, May 6, 2007

The life of Mel and Elise revolves around their kids and grandkids! We are happiest when we are with our family, sitting around the table or in this case, the computer, to share funny experiences and happenings of the day. We are determined to figure out this 21st century technology. Dad loves his motorcycle and reading more than his computer though, unless it is a motocycle site on his favorites list. We'll give it a shot though, so here goes. Thanks Sara for your patience.
