Dumb and Dumber

Today when I was riding my sweet new bike, my phone fell out of my pocket and shattered! I thought "of all the dumb things!" Then I started thinking of just a few of the really dumb things that I have done in the past and figured that this wasn't the worst.
Last week my eyes were aching from the inside and I recalled last time they felt that way was when I was a young genious and wanted to wear eyeliner but knew that my resources were limited so I used my mom's Marks A Lot permanent marker to make a fine line on the top of each eyelid. It stung from the inside out. I don't recall how it ever came off. It was permanent, after all.
I also used to be very self concious of my pencil like figure. I wanted some shape. So I took apart a small world globe bank, wa lah, two perfect half circles that I taped in place and wore to the stake Primary singing practice. They were probably taped on there for a couple of hours and boy did they hurt. They dug perfect circles into my little chest.
On the same subject, a friend asked the other day if I could just make her a bra to go with a dress I had altered. I said no, but in thinking about it I have to admit that I once tried. I cut off and altered an undershirt to make it into a bra looking piece of underapparal. I got hit in the head that day with a rock a kid threw on the playground and had to go to the nurse. My dress got all bloody and the nurse called my mom to come take me to the doctor, but not before she unzipped my dress to show her my new underwear. I was devasted that my mom saw my creation. I wonder now what my plans were for laundering that piece. Once again, of all the dumb things.
Well, I imagine confessions won't take care of my phone but at least I didn't blow up my bike tire when I stopped at the AMPM on the corner of Broadway and Gilbert to add a little air in my tire on the way home from Mesa Jr. pool when it was 200 degrees. Yup, I did that too. Well, have a good day folks. Remember to think. It's the smart thing to do.

Make a bra just for a dress....ha! I hope you told that person NO! What a ridiculous thing to do. You should've just told her to go braless! That's what I would've done! LOL!:)

I think I'm going to follow your example and ride my bike more places. It would probably make for better stories. Or at least more mediocre stories.
