BUNDLITIOUS!

The last school play I attended had Tanner as the Mayor , but young women at church keep giving the excuse "I have play practice, and I was asked to make some bundies for the dancing girls, so this year's school rendition of "Guys and Dolls" should be coming up soon.
My models are not in the school play, but they probably should have tried out.
I'm not sure all bundies are created equal. Note to dancers: Hope yours fit better than these and so sorry about the scratchy lace on your thighs! I tried to warn them.

Driving on Val Vista I saw a bill board that advertised bundles that you can have with your internet service. They called it "Bundlitious!" Hope you agree with me that these are bundlitious too.

vacation from our problems

You COULD call it a vacation. We stayed overnight in a beautiful secluded resort with water features. Adventure that we hadn't experienced together before and we loved every second of crossing the water twenty-six times. Mel wouldn't let me count the times we could just jump over the water (4), or when the trail was just a continual seep and we we just trekking through water (11), and I didn't count the times that we fell down. But all in all, even though we feel very old we're glad to be alive and home in our boring bed. Aren't you glad we didn't label this "wet and wild" for it may be a huge disappointment? Kids, get some hiking poles! They were life savers.

funeral therapy

An amazing way to be uplifted is to go to a funeral. I love it. I learn so many good things about people and feel the need to live a better life. I recently attended Jan Loar's funeral and felt the love of God there. Contracting polio when she was 15 and living in an iron lung gave her limitations, but she overcame so much in her life, and was so good that she deserves a crown and a mansion in heaven, plus a body that can run without a struggle.

This week I attended the funeral of a sweet friend from childhood, Kristi Lee Rowley Sherwood Crum, who fought a long fight with lung cancer. She shared her many musical talents widely. I am always strengthened by the things people do in their lives to improve the world around them.

My sweet friend and example, Virginia Stradling passed away this afternoon. I will miss her, but I won't miss her funeral. It does seem a little selfish on my part doesn't it?

Mel thinks it's a sickness with me, nevertheless I will continue and don't plan to repent any time soon.
